Busy Week!

Busy is an understatement for how things have been for our family.

Bryan and I canned apples this past weekend. We ended up canning two jars of applesause. (The best apple sause I have to say ever!- It tastes soooooo yummy!) and 8 jars of apple pie filling. It took us some time to locate a receipe to use, but it turned out yummy as well. Can't wait to use them in a real pie this winter!

My friend MaryRuth came to visit me on Sunday! I was so excited that I was going to see her. She moved to Texas in July. We had planned a day out at Manito Park, but the weather was bad, rainy, so we ended up staying home, talking. She is such a good friend. Strange to think we had met three years ago. I still think it was freaky how we met each other on the Scrapbooking web site, and finding out that she had just moved to Spokane a week before!
We were ment to be friends, and I am glad that we will continue to be friends- email-blogg buddy friends! even though she has moved to Texas. She really makes me look at the brighter things in life. She helps me to find positive things in every situation, and I am greatful for her. Even though we have known each other for only three years, it feels like we have known each other for ever. I put her in the ranking of my life long friends!

Update on Spencer: He is offically Teething! Ouch! And because of it, is "Cranky Man!" His poor little cheeks and chin are all red from the constant drooling. He is biting everything in site! I feel so bad for him. We have tried the teething tablets, and the Baby Orajel. They only work a little bit. Spencer has also become a rolling fool! He
rolls over from his back to his tummy and then his back again. Like he is rolling down a hill! It is funny. Things are going to become crazy in our home! I need to go through and pick up things that are low to the ground! Ugggg! And remember to keep them out of his reach! What fun! He is sitting up almost by him self. He forgets that nothing is behind him some times and leans back and falls, and then the crying begins- he is scared by it that is all, and once I calm him down he is ok. And this kid loves to each his veggies! (except green beans!) Squash, Sweet Potatoes, Peas, and Carrots are the ones he enjoys. As for Fruit, he loves Pears, and Prunes, and tolerates Applesause, but can't stand Peaches. He makes the funniest faces when we try to get him to eat peaches or the greenbeans and sometimes the applesause. He gaggs!

Here is a picture of Pepe'. He is not allowed up on the towlet, but as you can see he is laying there all cute. He and Sidney are starved for attention. I am tring to give them some "rubs and kisses" after I put Spencer to bed each night.
