Count Down

Sorry I have not updated this blog in a few days. I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed of late, and just can't seem to find the time to sit down and type. Spencer has had a really bad cold (ear infection) runny nose for the past two weeks now. He is also getting very clingy and I can't seem to get much done when he is a wake, and he doesn't seem to take long enough naps. He is usually down for only 30 minutes at a time.

But.....today....right now as I am typing, he has been a sleep for over an hour! Whooooo HOOOO! I think he seems happier when he takes longer naps. I was able to reorgainze our computer area and clean out some drawers while he was a sleep. I have been feeling really cluttery lately. It is the New Year Time, and I always seem to get in the cleaning mood. Thanks to Flylady.com I might be able to get myself back on track.

I have started her program several times, but always seem to fall off the wagon. Is that the right way to put it? Not sure....anyway. Instead of the trabitional New Years Resolution to loose weight, my main one will be to loose clutter!

My New Years Resloutions
1. Declutter Home and Life in general
2. Read my scriptures each night before going to bed.
3. Actually finish a Scrapbook album. (Sister and Brother in Law's Wedding?) And Spencer's
4. Start a date night with Bryan, and have it once a week.
5. Think of one positive thought each day, and write it down in my journal.
6. Smile more at myself, and laugh at myself more.
7. Send out Birthday cards to all my family this year! ALL Year LONG!
8. Brush my cats once a week!- let them lay in my lap.
9. Actually finish a book that my book club is reading so that I can participate completely in the discussion. LOL!
10. Declutter Home and Life in general (I feel this is a very important one, and thought I should mention it twice.)

Bryan is going to have to work on New Years Eve. I think he said 11am on Saturday to 1am on Sunday. That is 14 hours! He will not actually be driving the Bus that whole time....he does get breaks (2 -3 hour time slots) but sometimes they are very short and he can't leave the Bus Barn. I hope he has some time to come home during the day...so that I can see him.
