EAR InFECTions!

I am so tired! Spencer woke up on Friday with a temp. It didn't seem to high to me, just that he seemed warm. It was 98.2 taken under the arm. Little did I know that when you take your temp under your arm you have to add 1 degee to the final result. So Spencer had a 99.2 temp. I took him to day care and he just winned in the back seat of the car on the way over. I got a call from the Daycare at 1pm stating that his temp was 104!!! I quickly went and picked him up and took him to the doctor. The doctor told me that he had puss in both of his ears! A flew blown infection.

Back history- Spencer was diagnosed with his 4th Ear Infection on Thursday Jan. 5th. He was put on Omnicef Antibiotic and was doing really well up intell Friday (yesturday). On Thursday Jan. 12th he saw an Ear Nose and Throat Doctor to make take a look at things, and at this appointment his ears were fine. The doctor said that he saw some fluid behind his left ear drum but that it could be from the last infection he had and the antibiotic was working on it. He removed a lot of wax and Spencer did not like that procedure at all! Flash forward to Friday morning (2am to be exact) Spencer woke me up crying. Fell back to sleep. This happened every hour for the next 4 hours when at 6am I finally just brought him out into the living room to give him a bottle. He drank it, and then watched Baby Einstien.

Ok....this blog really is sad. I am just tired and I am rambleing on and on about the details, but I guess it is just because I feel like no one is listening to me. The doctor yesturday, and a few hours ago I called the After Hours nurse and all she recommened was to give him more Advil and ear drops and try to get him to sleep. He has been a sleep for 45 mins but I don't know how much longer he will sleep, and every time he wakes up he is crying- HARD. Holding his breath, and red faced!

I am just tired and I want my little BUG to feel better and the doctors are not helping!!!!
