We have something new

Update for the week!

On Wednesday Bryan and I got a babysitter and had an evening to ourselves. We decided to attend a temple session and I was very glad that we had. It had been almost exactly a year since we had gone. OH MY! I knew that it had been a while and I also new that it had been before Spencer came home but I had not realized just how long. Time really flies.
We had a great evening. Went and got Dairy Queen ice cream afterwards. It was fun to just spend the time with my hubby.

On Thursday I got to visit with my good friend MaryRuth. She moved to Texas last summer and I have missed her tons. She was helping some Scrapbooking friends who have started their own business doing Scrapbooking Retreats. They had one last weekend and they flew MaryRuth up to help out. It was soooooo good to see MaryRuth. She is looking good, even though she was sick on ther trip. We got to walk to Manito Park and see the ducks and some beautiful Swans! They were amazing! It was good to chatch up on things. She misses the cool crisp air, and all I could think was "Wow, it is sure is cold out today even though it is sunny." LOL!

On Friday, Bryan was home sick. I know when he really is sick and not faking it. He did absolutly nothing all day! I don't think he even got up once while I was at work. He went to bed at 8pm on Thursday night and slept in tell 8:30-9am. You have to realize he ususally wakes up at 6am every single day. Even on the days that he does not work.

On Saturday, Bryan was feeling a little better, not really but wanted to get out of the house. So we went looking for a new car. We went just to LOOK. REALLY. But we ended up buying a used Mini Van. A Crysler Siloete. I probably spelled that wrong. LOL. It is really cool. It does a lot of neet stuff. The side door opens by remote and it can seat 7 people. (for our future big family). Bryan was reading the owners manual last night, and there are a ton of things this van can do. The best feature by far....it beeps at you if you leave your lights on!!!! I will never ever again run the battery low by leaving the lights on! I am famous for doing this! Back in California the first year Bryan and I were married I left the lights on the car in the morning....had AAA out to jump start the car and then again I did it later that afternoon and had the same AAA guy come out to jump start the car again! How embarrasing it that!

Here is a picture of the van. We traded the Sonata and only had to pay $3,000. 00! Bryan is proud of his haggeling skills. The guy kept trying to get us to pay more and Bryan stick to his guns. He never wavered. I would have crumbled. This guy was trying really hard.

So this is our new wheels. Spencer seems to enjoy riding in it tool. He feel a sleep. Relaxed. The car seat fits sooooooo much better and it is so much easier to get him in and out! I don't bump my head and neither does Spencer. YEA!
