Chopped Liver?

It is soooooo Hot here! I think I am going to die! I think it offically got to 104 yesturday and is suppose to be 100 doday! HOT!

I am down stairs in our basement where the computer has been moved back and Spencer is down for a nap...not sure how long he will sleep...we will see if I can post this.....before he wakes up.

A few things that Spencer has been doing that are new:

1. Sharing his toys with Dakota and other children that he sees at church.
2. He is currently on a Cottage Cheese kick. Cottage Cheese at every meal and snack times too!
3. He is saying the sounds for Cow, Sheep, and Dog, and also Car sounds too!
4. He is "Signing" All the time!!!! He uses "HELP" alot and "More" alot too.
5. He is working on getting down stairs safely. He sits and scoots down. Although....I have to say "sit" and then he will sit.
6. Spencer sits when he goes down the slide now. I just have to say "sit" and he does and then does down the slide on his bottom rather than his tummy. This makes me very very happy!
7. He pet Pepe' on the head really nicely and I didn't have to tell him to do it.
8. We likes to help me water the flowers.
9. He has been consitanly waving his hand when we say good-bye to others.
10. He has been giving me hugs several times through out the day.

Just for those of you who didn't know.....Spencer has been shunning me lately. I had become chopped liver in his eyes! He only wants Bryan. He doesn't want me AT ALL! I guess he misses his Daddy when he is at work. I guess seeing me all the time....makes him not miss me. But just in the last few days he has been more clingy with me sometimes. When Bryan gets home....he does run over to him at the door and demand to be picked up and played with, but then he will usually come back to me....or want me to hold him too. Sometimes.

It really doesn't hurt my feelings....it is just really not fun when he cries and cries or screams when he knows Bryan is outside mowing the lawn and he wants to be with him. He pushes me away....and cries at the front door or back door. Sometimes I can't distract him to calm him down and it can be stressful for me...no fun!

But this is just a faze and I am sure something new will happen next week.

Yeah, kids have all sorts of phases. Luckily Xander just got over his "stranger" phase (you know the one where they freak out if mom isn't right there, and they don't want to go to anyone else).

You poor thing brenda- David went through that for a while it really started to eat away at him...for almost a year Taylar always wanted mommy for bedtime. I was sad for him but i secretly loved it. I think it will be the other way around if we have a boy.
