Back yard work

We finally got some work done on our back yard fence this last week. Bryan and I have been toying with the idea of exstending the fence line of our yard to enclose the unused garage (to small for a car- better for a storage unit) into our back yard. It has been something we have wanted to do for the past two years we have lived in the place. We finally got someone out to do the work for us. They are only half way finished. They tore down the old fence and retaining wall and have built up a new retaining wall and filled it with dirt. We are waiting for them to come back to redue the fence and also put a fence on the side of our home to block our neighbor's back yard- that is full of garbage. GROSS! It will be sooooo nice to finally open up my bedroom window and not see old bed frames, broken chairs, a wripped rug, broken table, small BBQ and a car right out my window. I will see a fence instead. Also, my poor rose bush will get some attention again. I have not gone over to that side of the house for almost 2 months, because the guy next door scares me. On the 4th of July at 11:30pm he through his stereo at our house (right under our bedroom window) and was cussing, and yelling at me. Very very long story.....and I really don't want to go into it on the blog....if you are interested in hearing about it....send me an email, and I can tell you all about it.

Any way....it will be so nice to have my yard back.

We are thinking that we want to use this new area for an out door play area for Spencer. We wanted to buy a Swing Set, or something to put in this new area. Not sure yet. Cost is holding us back currently. Please post a comment if you have any ideas of what we should use this new area for.
