Planes, Trucks, and Scrapbooks?

We made it home with no major problems. No dirty diapers (the bug went before we boarded the plane in Oakland), no motion sickness (I took some Cold and Allergy Med before we got on the plane to help my ears) and no major delays. We got to the airport for Bryan to pick us up at 9pm last night. OUCH! It was late and the bug was wiped out and so was I. He fell asleep before we got out of the airport parking lot. Unfortuantly we only live 10 minutes from the airport so he could not sleep for long. We did the bed time routine (bath, milk, books, bed) and he went down with out a problem but woke up crying at 3:45am and Bryan took care of him. He cried when Bryan put him back into his crib, but only for about 30 seconds. He cried a couple other times later that morning, and then I heard him about 7:30am and Bryan got him up to have breakfast and play with his toys.

Bryan's truck got stollen last night! It was there when we got home from the airport at 9:45pm, but when we went out this morning at 8:30am to take the bug to his speech therapy session, it was gone. I asked Bryan "Where did you move your truck?" His reply was, "I didn't move my truck!?!" It is gone. I ended up taking the bug to his appointment allown while Bryan called the police and the auto insurance. Can you believe that!? His truck is such a junky thing...old (1990) and worth nothing. The police came by to take a report...and said it was probably someone using it to transport drugs quickly. We may or may not see it again. Good chance that we will, but I am not so sure. SAD. If the police have not found it by the time we get back from our trip to CA in early January, then we will have to buy another truck for Bryan. It will be interesting only having one car again. But we will work it out.

So....I also wanted to post a few pictures of the scrapbooks that I made for my Sister's baby boys.

I created a title page with their names, and then a page on how my sister and brother-in-law found out they were pregnate, and a place for pictures of the bed room and the baby shower and then a picture of the day they were born and then a spot for a picture for each month with some journaling my sister can add.

Got to go unpack my bags and empty the diaper bag. It was packed with snacks from my sister for the flight home. Thanks Jenny! It really helped. And thanks to Gramma T. for the GUMMY BEARS! The bug loved them!

What a cute scrapbook!!! I am so glad you made it home without any major problems. It is always so nerve racking travelling with kids.
