I am a member of the Moms Club of Spokane, South Hill, Valley chapter. I just got excepted as one of the Playgroup Cordinators and I am very excited but also nervous about this responsibility. I know that most of the other ladies who are in the group that I am the cordinator for will host playgroups and they pick the location for the playgroup, but I fear that no one will want to host and I will have to do it all, and then when I host the groups no one will show up and I will be a failure. :(
Do any of you have ideas or suggestions on where to hold playgroups with 2 to 3 year olds during the Winter when it is to cold outside to play. I just want to have some ideas just in case I have to host several times and the ladies in my group don't get tired of driving all the way to my house for playgroup. Variety is good.
I look forward to your suggestions in the comments. And please remember that no suggestion is stupid or dumb....because I really don't have any of my own at this point so I will be greatful for what ever you guys suggest.

I don't know what the regulations are, and what you have there, but it's probably similar to here... so here's my suggestions:
an indoor playground (the rec center has that), restaurant play area like McD, a swimming pool, a church or community hall, museum, gymboree type thing. hmm.. that's all I can think of.

Congrats and good luck. Andrea gave all the ideas that I had for you. I always find it so hard to find things in the winter here. You will have to surf the net and maybe you will find some things near your area that you didn't know about............look forward to reading all about it!
