Friday yea!

Hard to believe that it is already Friday! It feels like it was just Monday. Even though I don't work at a job out side of the home....I still enjoy the weekends. It is just something to look forward to.
This weekend Bug and I (*and hopfully Bryan too) are going to a Chidren's Renaissance Fair that the local Park is putting on. It is going to be at Manito Park. I hope to take some fun pictures to share.

I have been happy to get back to our Lessons! We learned about the MOON and DUCKS this week.

We have been busy with some fun things this week.
Monday we did end up staying home and Bug helped me clean the house. We are going to try and do a Home Blessing Hour each week. He helped me sweep and dust. He loves the duster!

Tuesday Bug went to his Dentist. He did Soooo good at the appointment. He stayed in the chair while he waited for his turn with the dentist. And he kept his mouth open so that the Dentist could count his teeth. He has 20 teeth!!! He does have a cross bite going on. I guess his top teeth are causing the problem and he will probably need to wear some sort of brace when he is older to help stretch the top of his mouth. In the mean time he has a difficult time chewing his food with his back teeth because his cuspids touch first.

We also went to the McDonalds with the play land in to meet up with the ladies from my church who do a playgroup each week...No one showed up....but we had fun playing. Bug climbed up to the top. This is the first time he has ever done this! He got to the top and got a bit scared. But then he did it again and went through another tunnel. I think it will be only a matter of time that he will be able to do this with no trouble at all. He enjoyed coming down the slides. :)

Wedenesday we had our first Strawberries/Apples Playgroup with the M.O.M.S. group. It is for kids who are turning 2 or who already are 2 years old. I am the cordinator and was the host for the first event. It turned out great. Out of the 7 families who are in the group...we had 6 of us. YEA! I think everyone had a good time. We met at a park. The weather turned out great. Just a bit cold. Sunny though.

Thursday we went to our WIC appointment and Bug is 35 inches tall, and 33 pounds. He has had a growth spirt with his weight so the Nutritionist thinks that he will have a growth spirt with his height soon. Bug tends to go in this cycle....Weight growth, then height. I hope she is right...because all his pants are to long....and I have to roll them up or sew them up.

Friday...we had Occupational Therapy...and the therapyst thinks he is improving. After the session we met some ladies with the M.O.M.S. group for a walk along the Centennial Trail. I walked fast! I had no idea that I could do that....and I wasn't out of breath to bad! Good for me!

So we are excited about the activity tomorrow. Hopefully I will have pictures to share.
