Several weeks back Bug and I went out for a walk around our neighborhood and picked up some leaves to make this really fun craft. I did end up doing most of it...but he really enjoyed sticking his fingers in the glitter glue and smearing it around. And he did pick all the leaves himself.

Afterwards Bug saw the Free online Worksheet that the same site had up. It was tracing the number 2. He kept saying "I want Two". So I printed the worksheet and asked him if he wanted a pencil or crayons. He said "I want Pencil". I gave him my pencil and then stood back to see what he would do. And this is what he did!
Oh and he was holding the pencil correctly too. Not sure when that started...because he usually would just take the crayons, markers, pens, pencils in a fist.

wow- I'd love to know the site for the worksheets. looks like fun. You should totally start a website or blog or something will all your great lesson ideas. I need to start saving the ones I do so I can reuse them again. That's what takes so long.
