Happy Valentine's Day!

I have so much I want to blog about but am having a hard time getting my thoughts down in type.

Here is a quick list to start with, and I will plan on posting more about most of them later.

1. Went to my second Doctor appointment yesturday. Got to hear the baby's heart beat. 168 bpm. I am also scheduled for some screenings on Monday afternoon since I am 37 years old and have a slight risk of having a baby with Downs Syndrom. This will be the first of two tests to help give us a % of the risk. I have to go by myself because Bryan has to work. They couldn't get me in any other day because the cut off for this first test for me is Tuesday since I will be 13 1/2 weeks long then.

2. Bryan and I gave each other our Valentine's Day gifts last night. Bryan has to work today so that is why we did it last night. I got him some red plaid lounge pants. And he gave me a gift certificate for a facial, and a box of Hallmark chocolates. I think I got the better end of the deal! I can't wait to use it. RELAXING!!!! I do have goodies to give to my boys later today. I got the idea from here.

3. Bought myself a small pot of Daffodiles yesturday! They smell so good.

4. Need to start planning Bug's 3rd Birthday party! OPPS! It is almost 2 weeks away!

I didn't cry, but I did smile really big. It took two nurses to find the heart beat. After the first one couldn't find it, I figured it was just not going to happen, but then the second nurse came in and said she was going to give it a try. It was cool to hear it beating so fast. We could hear my heart beat really loud most of the time, and it got me to thinking how the baby can hear my heart beat all the time, and made me smile even more.

Nice gifts!
I opted out of those tests because I didn't want more tests and more worry and really.. doesn't make a difference. This baby is coming to our family problems or not.
And yea for flowers!
