Thankful Day 3

I am thankful for ..... umm.... Not sure?

No really my sister called it when she posted the comment on my last post. Yes, I am planning on posting every day. *we will see if this really does happen* and I was going to say that I was thankful for ...... My little sister.

I didn't always feel this way.... but I am sure you all know why. When you are kids living at home, having to share your parent's attention, and your friends at school, and the bathroom each morning to get ready for school, you tend to fight. A LOT! And we did!

But just like how we grew up and became adults, your feelings change towards each other. You are there for each other through the tough times learning to be grown up. My sister and I have gone through a lot together. Moving into our own apartment and making rent. Getting jobs, boy friends, taking care of pets, as well as other tough situations.

Infertility Issues. We know how we each feel, and what we have gone through to get our children. It means a great deal to me to know that she understands how I feel.

I also, am realizing that my step dad was right, when he told me growing up, that she would be my best friend. It didn't happen over night, but over the years we have grown closer despite the miles that now seem to separate us. I know that I can call her any time, and she will be there. I don't call often but when I do, she knows just what to say to help me feel better. She also, has supported me through some tough decisions I have had to make in my life.

I am thankful for my little sister. More than words can say.
