Trick or Treating 2009

Happy Halloween 2009!!!

Kiddos all ready to head out for Trick or Treating. Bug was Spiderman! and Ladybug was that cute Cow again. This time with two pink bows in her hair to help people see she was a little "girl" cow.

Bug taking my picture with his play phone.

Got to the mall and just starting to go Trick or Treating.

Ladybug loved holding her plastic cow and chewing on it. She could push a button on the tummy and it would "MOOOOOO!"

Bug so excited to be Trick or Treating...he had to do a little dance!

Getting some Candy!

Bug singing as he walked LOL!

OK...this picture just crackes me up! Ladybug and Bug are just so much a like!

Walking the mall.

Second part of the night...headed over to my good friend Tami's house and met up with them to hit the neighbor hood trick or treating! Here is a picture of all the kiddos. Left to Right: Spiderman, Hanna Montana, Cow, Tinker Bell, and Sorerer holding a yellow Bunny.

Cow escape!

The young girls talking about all the trick or treating they are going to do.

Trying to get more pictures! Cow was not cooperating!

Holding that COW!

And they are off! "Here we come Houses! Get that Candy READY!"

Bug just soooo excited!!!

Ladybug not so sure about all these crazy people walking around at night time. "Shouldn't I be in bed?"

One of the first houses.

About half way through. Their bags are pretty full!

Daddy helps Cow out so she gets some candy too.

See the glowing eyes! The hunt for candy grows.

Mommy helping Cow get her candy..and the other kiddos off to the next house.

A very spoooky house!

Bug telling the lady at this house how much candy he has gotten.

Bug and Hanna held hands most of the night. Bug can't stop talking about his new girl friend. LOL He kept saying to her..."You are going to hold my hand."

That bag is getting really heavy. But he didn't want anyone to help him out with it. It was all his!

Trick or Treating is all done. Off to the Fire Pit to get warm and then heading home to check out our loot. Wooo Hooo.
What a night! The kids got tons and tons of candy. When we got home and got the kids to bed, Bryan and I went through all the candy to check that it was safe. And we even took a taste of a few pieces. What? Well we want to make sure it is safe. LOL
Hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween.
Today is going to be spent, switching out the Holiday Decorations for Thanksgiving ones. Going to be doing some Recipe searching as well for Thanksgiving Dinner. We are heading over to Alyson's Home again for Thanksgiving and I wanted to try and make a new - different 'Side Dish' this year. We will see if that happens. I might just end up making 'Green Bean Cassarole' again.

Fun stuff- your kids look ADORABLE!! If you need a recipe for a good side dish for Thanksgiving- I have a few that I have used in past years. Two of my favorite are a broccoli bake (that is similar to a green been casserole), and a sweet potato bake (with apples and cranberries in a glaze).

anyway- it has been great to catch up on your blog- It has been so hard to sit down at the computer with our new little one around- caring for him is super time consuming!
