*what is zumba?*

•Zumba is an aerobic fitness program.

•fitness program inspired by Latin dance. Spanish slang for "to move fast and have fun"

•combines Latin and international music in dance routines featuring aerobic and fitness interval training done to a combination of fast and slow rhythms. It was developed by Colombian fitness trainer Beto Perez a decade ago. ...

I call it, what uplifts my mood, gets my blood pumping, and my legs moving.  I call it something that brings a smile to my face.  Gets me out of the house away from the demands of being a mommy even for a hour. It recharges me, modivates me, and energizes me.  It makes me feel alive and sexy and a women.  I love being in the room full of other women, feeling the beat of the music pulse through my veins.  I am moved!  Alive!

Do you have a hobby or interest that makes you feel alive, good, happy?  Share with me!  I would love to hear about it!  Might give us all some great ideas.

I use to go to zumba a lot..but when I slipped and twisted my ankle in January 2010 I just have had a hard time going. Plus it got so packed at the North Y! I did see that Stef is on your FB list of friends. She is on mine too. She is an amazing woman and friend. Has given me some great advice on some school stuff for my son back when he was in Kindergarten and I was trying to make some schooling decisions.
