County Fair

Spencer and I went to the Spokane County Fair on Saturday.

We had such a good time. We saw lamas, pigs, cows, sheep, goats, rabbits, duck, turtles, guini pigs, birds, snakes. He got to pet sheep, a goat and a Lama. I think his favorite animal was either the goat or the lama. Not sure which one he seemed to squeal loudest when he saw them and petted them.

We also got to see some kittens from the Humane Society. They were soooo tiny and fluffy and soft. I was more excited about the kittens than Spencer was.

We also, got to see the pig races, and won a ribbon because the pig that we bet on (for free) won the race.

We got some ice cream, or rather I should say that Spencer got some ice cream. I got maybe 5 licks of it, and a little bit of the cone. He LOVES ice cream, and it really fast when he eats it. I think he realizes that it is melting. He didn't get to much on his clothing. He got more water and juice on his pants afterwards when I gave him some to drink. He likes to tip the water bottle up side down and watch the water come out. Silly kid.

I also got to take a quick spin around the exhibits. It was fun to see all the crafts (quilts, hats, clothes, photos, etc...) FUN! I really need to enter some of my photos into the fair just for fun. I keep meaning to do it and then the deadline is passed and I am out of luck.

This was the first time that I have gone to the fair here in Spokane. I have lived here for 5 summers and this was my first time going. Can't believe that! I will go again next year! It was so much fun. Now if I can just get Bryan to go with me next year.
