We are here!

Leavenworth is sooooo pretty. All the colors on the trees are changing! Beautiful!

We headed out from Spokane at 10am this morning....Spencer was distracted by Maddy (my mom's dog). We tried to say good bye to him but he was wanting to run around with the dog. It was good that Maddy was there.

We drove Hwy 2 to Leavenworth. Had the best time just talking and listening to each other. It has been a really long time since we have taken a road trip and got to just chat about things. I know we are silly, but this is one of the things I really enjoy about Bryan and my relationship. We have the best talks while we are on road trips. We did talk alot about Spencer but we tried to talk about other things too. Like the world news and other things going on in the world.

The scienery was so pretty in certain spots along our drive. I didn't have my camera handy or I would have stopped to take some pictures. Maybe on the way home.

We arrived in Leavenworth at 2pm and found our hotel. Icicle Inn. Check in was not tell 3pm so we took a walk down town at window shopped. There were many other people but everyone is so nice to each other. It is such a cute little town. There was "Polka" music playing in the town square. It was fun.

At 3pm we headed to the Hotel and checked in. The room is so beautiful. We have a huge bed, and a big bathtub with jets. Roses, and chocolates, and tons of stuff. I took pictures with the camera but I forgot to bring the cord to add upload them to my lap top so I will have to download them when I get home and share them then.

We are relaxing in the room for now tell dinner. Surfing on the internet, and enjoying the quite time. We plan to go to dinner at the Black Bear Cafe tonight.

Tomorrow we might go horse back riding (2 hour ride) and then we have Massages scheduled for 4pm and then dinner again at a nice resturant. Not sure where yet.

I called my mother to see how Spencer was doing and how she was holding up with a 19month old and a puppy and she said she was doing good. Spencer was doing great. He went straight down for his nap....no troubles at all. "He knows the routine", she said. He is a good nap taker and goes to bed so well too....as long as the routine is the same. So they are doing well, and so are Bryan and I.

I am happy!
