2 year check up

Bug just got his two year check up and he is looking great!
He is 29.5 pounds, and 34 inches tall.
He got to stand up to get meassured...
which he thought was fun.
And he got to stand on the scale to get weighted too.
FUN!
No more BABY!

He did get his second Hep. A shot
but other than that he is
all up to date on vacs and
will not need anything tell 4 years!
Whooo Hooo!

On the way out to the car
I told Bug how proud I was of him and
said that he could get to open the car door
with the remote car door
opener since he did soooooo good.
So I let him open the car door.
Little did I realize he had pushed
the lock button afterwards.
I got him buckeled up and
then pushed the close button on the side
of the car....
but the keys were not in my pocket!
I realized
and tried to stop
the sliding door
from closing
but was not
FAST enough!
and then all the doors locked!
OHHHHHHH!
I double checked my pockets
hoping that I was wrong....
but no keys
and then I looked in the window
and there were the keys sitting on the floor
of the fan.
Ugg!
I started to walk to the doctor building....
feeling really weird
leaving Bug in the van....
but it was locked.
But then realized I had my
new cell phone.
I could call AAA
and stand right next
to the van! Thank goodness!

They were really fast getting there....
infact two guys showed up
because I had Bug in the car.
Bug laughted at me through the window...
I think he was thinking
I was funny.
I didn't think it was funny.
I wanted to go home!

The van got opened and we headed home.
Glad that I had dinner started earlier in the crock pot.
I didn't have to worry about dinner being late.
It was already started.
We had Corny Chili waiting for us!

You had to be scared out of your mind, at least in the beginning? I've been so lucky to not have locked my kids in the car, and I have no idea why it hasn't happened. Pure luck I guess.
