Bug climbed out of his crib this morning!!!!
Well actually he fell.
I had just come out of the shower and was going into my bedroom to get dressed
when I heard a thud....and then a cry...and
I RAN!
FAST!
I found him on the floor on his tummy crying.
He was pretty upset.
I checked his arms and legs to make sure nothing was broken...all ok.
Held him for what seemed like 30 minutes and then he was fine.
He played.
He ate tons of cereal.
Thought to myself....well hoping really...
that this was just a one time thing....that it was an accedent.
But I don't think so.... He was clearly trying to climb out of the crib after his nap this afternoon.
OOOOHHHHH! Boy!
Toddler bed is coming really soon.
I just hope the transition goes smoothly.

Glad he's ok. Good luck with the toddler bed. Fun times.
I'm so worried about that. I have a climber on my hands as it is. He's put his leg up once that I've seen, but when the door shuts, it's anyones game. I can't help but picture that baby puppet on Seseme Street when the mommy (or daddy) shuts the door for night-night. He/she has a rock concert. It's my favorite episode. I think we're moving to the toddler bed really soon too. Let me know how your's works out when you make the transition.
I'm so glad your boy is ok. My 25 month old climbed out of her crib for three days and then she decided she didn't want to do that anymore. I don't know if something spooked her or if she is just being obedient and sensible. I hope she sees our way on every issue from now on! Ya, right!
