So much going on....but not really

Weekend Musings:

1. Have been dreading cleaning my home. I have just been so tired lately. It could be from allergies, but not sure. More than likely it is from me staying up later than normal (10:30pm) and Bug once again getting up at 5:00am crying for the past week. Bryan started his new set hours at work last Sunday and works tell 11:30pm Monday-Wednesday and then he worked some overtime on Thursday and Friday nights. I have been finding it difficult to go to bed at my normal time (9:00pm or 9:30pm) when he is not home. Lonely, mostly. And he is good about helping me not to stay up to late.

2. Bug like I said has been up at 5:00am for the past week. This then makes him tired and cranky at 10am and he needs a nap. He will sleep about 2 hours and then wakes up REALLY CRANKY!!!! But this is normal for him to wake up not to happy about 80 % of the time. I don't like it, and it is not much fun, but I deal with it. But now that he is wakeing up so early and taking his nap so early he wants to go to bed at 6pm. To early kid-because you will want to get up at 5am the next day. But even making him stay up tel 7pm or 7:30pm has not helped him to sleep in. Ugggg. Sorry about the rant....I just love my sleep and have not really gotten a good nights sleep sence he came home with us. LOLOLOLOLOL! That is what I get. LOL! This is what taking care of children means. But will I ever get to sleep in again? Won't hold my breath!

3. My good friend from High School, Junior College, and Rainbow Girls days is moving from Seattle to Milwaukee. She leaves today with her two daughters, her dogs and her mother from their home in Seattle. They will be driving through Spokane so they will come visit us for a few hours before they hit the road again. I guess her hubby has been living in Milwaukee since February. He got a great job there. I am excited to see her. It has been 3 years since I have seen her. It was at my sister's wedding. We kind of got into a fight. I was hurting because I could not have kids of my own, and Bryan and I were working on our Adoption Paperwork, and my friend was trying to be supportive in her way by trying to convince me to do Infertility Treatment and not Adoption. I was so emotional and confused by her reaction to the news that we were trying to Adopt, that I kind of blew up on her at my Sister's Wedding. It was uncalled for but I was hurting so much back then. In the past she had always been so supportive of my decisions I had made in my life that I was hurt that she didn't seem to support this very important decision that both me and my hubby had made. Anyway....I wrote her a note appologising for my out burst. But our friendship has never really been the same. Sad really. That is why I was so excited when she emailed me and asked if she could come see us on their way through. I am excited to introduce Bug to her and her Mother. I know he will not be to friendly....because that is just who he is when he meets new people. He will scream and yell like he always does......but I am hoping that her dogs will distract him and make him more freindly to my friend and her family while they visit. BECAUSE....Bug LOVES Dogs!!!!!!! I mean, crazy for them!

4. Need to plant my pumpkin seedlings. Uggg! they are dieing down in the basement in the artifical light. For some reason I have just not been into getting my hands dirty. Plus, it has been so warm outside for the past week....(79 degrees). Ok....this is really not all that HOT but when it was 55 degrees a few days before it sure feels hot.
