Week in Review 9/23-9/29

Been busy yet again, so that is why I have not had a chance to post.

1. Got released from my calling as the Primary Secretary last Sunday. I had been in this calling for 3 years. (I think to the day- but can't remember my first day as Secretary....I do remember it was September of 2004)

2. Got called as the Assistant to the Activity Day Girls Leader. I am very excited about the new calling. The leader has some very fun things to do this month. I can't wait tell Wednesday!

3. We had a so-so time at the Children's Renaissance Fair. It was rather small in attendence. Bug was a bit to young too for the activities. But my friend Alyson's son did really well with the activity.

4. Bug has done several new things this week.

a. He has learned to swing on a big kid swing!

b. He has been sleeping in his twin bed that we lovingly call "Monkey Bed" because it has a monkey theme comforter. But as of last night.....he slept in his "Monkey Bed" at night! All Night long...and stayed in his bed until I came down at 6:40am this morning when he woke up. Woooo HOOOOO! I was a bit nervous how it waas going to go, but he stayed in bed. I did go check on him two times through out the night, and he was sound asleep. We will see how tonight goes.

c. He helped me bake a cake!

5. Bug had an evaluation at his speech Therapy and he will only have to go to therapy 1 time a month instead of on a weekly basis. His comprehension level is at a 3 year old (he is only 2 1/2) and his verbal is right on age target. The therapsyt is just concerned about his Vocabulary, the number of verbs in particular that he does say. I have go through a check off list of words and mark witch ones he is saying.

6. Bug got a cold this week and we have been staying inside.

7. It has been cold!!! 50 degrees on Friday! Burrrrr

8. I have some clothes for sale at the Just Between Friends sale going on at the Fair Grounds. I hope that all my items sell. I don't want to have to bring anything home.

9. It is my birthday today! I am happy!

10. I love all the new shows that are on! Heros, Ghostwhisper, Journeyman, Chuck, CSI, CSI:NY, Bionic Woman, The Office, Smallville! YEA
