Another Great Day...actually an amazing week!

Bug did great on Tuesday at Occupational Therapy this week. Bryan took him to the session and maybe that it why I think he did so good. LOL

Wednesday brought another fun filled day to Mobius, and Bug once again was amazing! Bryan was able to go with us on the bus ride and play at Mobius. Bug LOVED the finger painting, and was so well behaved I had to ask myself, "Is this my kid?" He normally runs around the tables at any craft/Art class I have taken him in the past. I am totally enjoying my kid!!!! This week at least.

Thursday he had Gymboree and he was a bit clingy when I dropped him off and cried. Teacher Natalie was a huge help and got him distracted and interacting in the class so I could leave. Teacher Heidi reported after the class that he did great with all the other kids, and interacted well with them all.

Today we got to go to a place called Jump and Bounce. It is a big warehouse building with those blow up bouncers for kids to climb in and jump around in. Bug has gone two other times last year. He had so much fun today and was able to do all the activities by himself. He was brave and happy and kept coming up to me and saying "I am having so much fun!" I got teary eyed when I saw him go in to one of the bouncers and realized that he was growing up and such a big boy. I was so proud of him. And I started to cry from the happy feeling it brought to me. I quickly gathered my composure because I didn't want anyone to see me. It was packed in the Jump and Bounce because of Spring Break, but Bug still did so good with the other kids, and only had one out burst of screaming when a little girl was crying. I just quickly got next to him and told him she was sad, that is why she was crying and to ask her why she was crying. He did ask her why she was crying and then he was ok. He is getting better and that makes me happy.

After the Jump and Bounce play time we all went to McDonalds for lunch and more playing and gift giving for the Bug's friend's 3rd Birthday! Bug loved the ice cream cones the best and I think was one of the only kids sitting at the tables eating his while all the other kids were playing. You know where his priorities are. LOL He played well with all the kids here too. :) I was even able to go buy my own lunch and didn't even worry about him when I left the play area. OHHHH so nice! I love this feeling.

In addition to these activities we have been able to go to the park near our home and Bug has been so good playing with the other children here too. Amazing to me. But I have to admit I am fearful if this behavior will not last. I want it to last so so so badly. This week has been mostly GREAT days. Not sure how long they will last.
