Growing them BIG

I am feeling a bit better today.
Called my Dr. to get a refill on pain meds. Still have not heard back yet.
Breast Pump is working great! I pump from 3 to 4 ounces at a time.
Lady Bug drank 4 ounces of milk from the bottle last night, and didn't spit it up! HOLY COW!
Lady Bug had her two week check up at her pediatrician today and she weighted 8 pounds 11 ounces. So in two weeks she has gained a pound! She also has grown longer too, 22 inches long now too. 92% on height.

I am going to my Coumadin Clinic appointment later today. I am looking forward to this appointment to hopfully answer some of my questions I am having on the pain in my legs.

I also talked to a Lactation Specialist today and she thinks I need to work on Lady Bug's Latch so that she can empty out my clogged duct in my left breast. I am going to give it another day and if it is not better I will go in tomorrow and have them take a look at what I am seeing.

Sounds like things are starting to go more in the right direction these days. That is great that she gained a pound in a week. Your milk and she are getting along just fine, and that's wonderful. I hope you get even better as the days go by. Keep us updated.

I am glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.

I know everyone tells you to hang in there and it will get better, and sometimes in the middle of the yucky it doesn't seem that way. Really though, it will get better. Some of what you are feeling could be the normal Baby Blues, just try to rest as much as you can!

Your baby is beautiful BTW ;-)

Yea for big babies. Sure hope you feel better soon. The first 6 weeks are the hardest yuckiest. Hang in there.
