Bug's 4 year photos

Bug did so well at getting his pictures taken earlier this week.

He had FUN!

He got to pick out an outfit to wear. He wanted to be a builder.

I can't believe that my little guy is 4 years old. Time really has gone by so quickly. He has been such a blessing to have in our home and even though we have those moments when you ask yourself "Why???" they are over shadowed by the special moments when you see him learn something new, or is doing something so sweet.

I was not able to tuck Bug into bed last night because I was at a church meeting but when I got home I quietly went into his room to give him a kiss. He looked just so sweet and peaceful. I think I will always love those quite moments when you stop and reflect on your sleeping baby. Even though he will continue to grow up he will always be my baby.

Di spite the fact that I did not get the opportunity to carry him inside my womb I carried him for a long long time in my heart. I know that sounds so corny, but it is so true. I would not change how he came to our family. It is special to us and we will always remember that phone call and our first meeting.

Bug has come so far since we came home from the hospital with him. He was so tiny and small and fragile. I fell in love with him the moment I saw him. My heart felt like it was beating out side of my chest. I remember thinking..."There is my SON! I finally found you!" He was just so tiny and small

I know exactly what you mean when you said "you carried him in your heart for a long time".

And I LOVE the new 4-year picture on your sidebar of him with his hand up by his mouth and just showing his personality, very cute.

Cute! I think my favorite is the one you used on the side bar...of him laying down pn his side with his hand to his mouth. Cute! :)
