We have had an interesting few days. Yesturday I forgot to report that Spencer got a really bad rug burn on his forhead. Thanks to Bryan. LOL! Ouch! They were playing in the living room and some how Spencer got the top of his forhead rubbed on the living room rug. It didn't look that bad at the time, but by the time it was time for a bath we could see it turning a bit red. Then this morning....it looks really deep red gross. It doesn't seem to hurt him when I touch it. I have been putting medicine on it to help it heal but it is not healing fast enough for me.
Bryan ended up getting off really early today. He only worked 2 hours (4 am to 6am) and when I woke up he was home. That was nice! We headed off to lunch after Spencer's morning nap to a Chinese Resturant. The staff there are really strange. The last time we came to this resturant the lady getting our drinks scared Spencer. She was way to friendly and touchy. She kept touching his arm and hands. He didn't like it. Today the guy getting our drinks askes me what happened to his forhead. I told him that he fell and got a rug burn. He was very surprised. I didn't think anything of it at the time....but I think he thought I said he was burned.
After lunch we headed over to the library so that Bryan could get more books to read. Spencer and I spent a few minutes in the children's section looking at books. He is really interested in books right now. I find him in his room looking at his tiny board books all the time. It is cute.
We then went to the Spokane Fair Grounds to see the Dog Show going on. It was really cool! We didn't want to pay for parking so we parked on one of the side streets. We knew that Spencer would not go for long- nap time was coming (so we thought). Bryan was really impressed with the dogs. He does not like dogs at all. None of the dogs barked and everything one was quite. The dogs were soooo cute! Spencer loved seeing the "Puppies" as we call him. He pointed alot and squeeled a few times. It was fun to see his face light up. I think he was remembering "Lilly" the dog that the baby-sitter had who watched him.
I got some great pictures that I want to share of Bryan's Brother's families!!!!
