Death to Taxes!!!

I am so stressed out by doing our taxes.
There just seem like so many other forms to fill out and attach to the 1040 for all the extra things that we can claim or deduct. (i.e. child tax credit, student loan, IRA investment, Home improvements, Adoption Credit, State Tax refund, itemized deductions [ morgage interest, morgage taxes, church contributions, etc....)
Our tax advisor came over last night
and after 2 hours
and I am even more confused.
Today I did try to work on the tax forms while the Bug was taking his nap.
I did get about half way...
but when I got to the section about the Child Tax Credit part,
and started working on the form....
it asked if we were claiming Adoption Credit....
and we are....
sooooooooo....
I had to work on another form to figure out if we could even get the Child Tax Credit because we are applying for the Adoption Credit.....
and with that form another form on top of that....
UGGGGG!!!

I know
I am going around in cirlcles
and probably not making any sence....
but that is how I am feeling.....
very confused and stressed out.
Halfway through me working on things I started to get a huge headache!

I guess teaching Bug
his numbers
and colors
and alphabet
and shapes
and his left
and his right
all day long
every day
is just not enough exercise
for my brain!
LOL!

exactly why we now get an accountant to do the taxes. So nice to drop it off and not have to stress.. until it's time to pay for the services. But so worth it for us right now. Hope you get done soon and can relax.

Try Turbo Tax. We use that, and it makes things a lot easier for us. If it is still too much, just pay an accountant. It will be worth every penny (especially if they can find a deduction you can take, that you didn't know about)
