Ultrasound Scheduled for today~UPDATED!!!

Go to the bottom of this post and see the results from the ultrasound.

This morning at 8:00 tell 8:15am I will be drinking 20 oz of fluid (water) to prepair for another Ultrasound to be done at 9:00am.

I am not looking forward to having a very painfully full bladder, and I am sure I will since I have been going pee every hour on the hour both day and night. So it is not going to be much fun.

BUT..... I am very excited about getting to see Lady Bug yet again. I love seeing her on the screen wiggling around, and hopefully see what she looks like when I feel her moving. I feel her moving all the time now. Sometimes it is fun, sometimes not so fun. I know she has got to be getting annoyed how cramped it is getting in there.

Bug is going with us today, and I am looking forward to seeing his reaction to seeing Lady Bug on the TV Screen.

The reason we are doing yet another Ultrasound is because 4 weeks ago I was measuring 34 cm - meaning 34 weeks along and I was only 30 weeks along. Dr. Hilton wanted to make sure he has the due date right, and to see if they can get a good look at her face. I guess the last Ultrasound didn't give a good look at her face, so that he could see if she had the markers for Down Syndrome. At this point I am 99.9% positive she does not have DS, because of all the other markers they look for being negative for DS, but Dr. Hilton just wants to make sure.

As of today I am 34 weeks and 5 days along....we will see if that stays the case after this visit. It sure would be nice to have her earlier than later if she is big enough. My Grandfather's Birthday was August 7th (same birthday as the little foster baby boy we had last year) and that would be really weird if she was born then. But August 8th would be even cooler....8-8-08!

But we will see....it is ok to hope though.

******************************************************

Appointment went well. It was much faster than last month. Ultrasound only lasted about 10 minutes. *L*

Here is a few current pictures of our Lady Bug!

And we got a nice clear picture showing that she is a girl....no doubt at all on that.

Bug did great during the ultrsound but didn't seem to really care what was going on. He wanted to have a turn after I was done. When it was time for us to go see the doctor for my monthly appointment and go over the ultrasound Bug kept wanting to climb on the table. "My turn now!" He said over and over and over. It was funny.

Dr. Hilton told me that her weight is 6 pounds, 5 oz. (86%), so she is big. My tummy is measuring only 35 cm....thankfully, but that could be because she has dropped down into my pelvis more. I didn't gain anymore weight from my last appointment....*relief*. She is head down. Which I thought. I feel her kicking me on my upper rightside near my ribs more often. Today during the U/S her feet where on my upper left side but the placenta is up on that side so it could be a buffer and I might not feel her kick so much on that side. It could explain why anyway.

So my week to week appointments have begun. I am happy about that. Means I am reaching the home stretch. Dr. Hilton said they would not allow me to go past my due date. Since she is so big right now. In a few weeks he will do a proceedure that should help progress things but it might not work since it is my first pregnancy. But that he will be checking my cervix at each appoitment from now on.

So that is the news!

Really have been having a strong feeling she is going to come early, but we will see.
It just might be wishful thinking.

I had better get that hospital bag packed!!!!

Take it from me Brenda, pack your bags. I waited way too long with #1boy, and he was 2 1/2 weeks early and I wasn't ready to go to the hospital. I was directly admitted from the doctors office, so I didn't get to go home to pack on the fly. Hubby had to do it for me, and that's not very ideal. So, pack those bags tonight.

How exciting!

I had my bags packed almost a month early and Karlee came 2 weeks late! So don't pack too early!
