More Converstations of a 3 year old

Bryan and Bug headed to the car yesterday after my Doctors appointment. I had to wait to schedule my next appointments. I was going to meet them down stairs when I was done.

Bryan told me the following conversation that he and Bug had when they were heading to the car.

Bryan: "You did such a great job, little man. I am so proud of how well behaved you were at the doctor's office."

Bug: "I am a big boy!"

Bryan: "That is right. You are a big boy. Did you hear baby *her name*'s heart beat today?"

Bug: "Yes."

Bryan: "What does that mean?"

Bug: "I am happy."

Bryan really thought that Bug was going to say "I am going to be a big brother", and was so surprised when he heard him say "I am happy" come out of his mouth. He said, it made it want to cry to hear that.

* Thinking about bringing him with us to the ultrasound appointment in 4 weeks so that he can see her on the screen. But not totally sure yet. If we do bring him, I think Bryan will take him to walk around or maybe to the park during the second part of my appointment. I just don't want him to get to bored and crabby. I can't expect a 3 year old to be good waiting for me to see the doctor after my ultrasound. We will play it by ear and see how he does. Be flexible!!! He surprised me by being so good yesterday at that very long appointment. I really believe that not allowing him to drink any more of those powder drinks from Wal-Mart really has helped with his personality! I have seen such a huge behavior change in him that I am 99% sure that taking him off that drink has helped him in so many ways. I think the fake sugar really is the culprit in this situation. I he is going to eat something sweet, I would much rather have him eat something that has real sugar in it than aspartame (spelling). Just need to make sure we brush our teeth more, but that is worth the behavior issues that I was dealing with. :)

He was even great at the park that we took him too after the appointment. He played with the children. No pushing, or screaming or any bad behavior. He seemed really happy. We took him to the flower garden and the Conservatory to look at more flowers, and he did so good, staying near us and behaving. It makes taking him out such a joy!

You look adorable. I know it doesn't feel that way right now, but you do! So glad that things are going so well.

You look adorable. I know you probably don't feel that way right now, but you do. So glad that things are going well.
